OCA

The Office of Consumer Affairs (OCA) was created to advance consumer and family driven services through training and education that support and empower individuals in the recovery process and to legitimize their voices in statewide behavioral health policy and initiatives.


OCA’s vision is to assure that the voice of New Mexican consumers and family member is heard and included in all major decisions pertaining to mental health and substance abuse issues. The mission is accomplished through progress on the following strategies : training, program development and advocacy, funding and participation/information dissemination.


Together, Consumers and Communities will develop the necessary training and skills to help individuals integrate successfully into their communities.
